Circa Waves Announce First Ever US Tour Dates
Liverpool natives, Circa Waves are pleased to announce plans to cross the pond for the first time since inception. Starting on October 20 Circa Waves will play at DC9 in Washington DC followed by appearances in Boston and Los Angeles. All shows will go on sale on August 8 and ticket links can be found HERE
Circa Waves' current single “Young Chasers” was released earlier this summer and was instantly hailed as Zane Lowe’s Hottest Record In The World. "Young Chasers" forms part of the bands debut self-titled US EP release, available now on iTunes. The band is currently on the festival circuit overseas, playing at Reading, Leeds, Summersonic, and Way Out West to name a few. Prior to arriving in the states, Circa Waves will spend late September and early October as direct support to The 1975 and The Libertines on their autumn tours. Circa Waves Release Video for "Young Chasers"
Circa Waves have just debuted their new official video for "Young Chasers"! Click HERE to watch or check it out below. "‘Young Chasers’ is one of our most immediate songs, literally,” explains vocalist/guitarist Kieran Shudall. “It was written in the morning, the demo was recorded in the afternoon, and put up on SoundCloud in the evening, that same night people started playing it on radio."
Circa Waves' debut self-titled EP featuring "Young Chasers" was just released on Tuesday and is available now on iTunes. The band is scheduled to perform at numerous international festivals this summer – from Glastonbury, T in the Park, Reading and Leeds in the UK to Summer Sonic in Japan, Oya in Norway and Splendour in the Grass in Australia. Zane Lowe just premiered Circa Waves' new song "Stuck In My Teeth" as his 'Hottest Record In The World' on BBC Radio 1! Produced by Jim Abbiss (Arctic Monkeys, Bombay Bicycle Club, Adele), "Stuck In My Teeth" serves as a prelude to the band's debut full-length, release date TBD. Give the new track a listen below.
