WHAT: The secret is out. Alexisonfire will put on a very special surprise show for fans at famed indie-record store Sonic Boom in Toronto. The band will be performing their Dog’s Blood EP live. For those fans that cannot make it to the show, the band will be streaming the performance live on their Facebook page.

A term coined by vocalist George Pettit, Dog’s Blood features brand new songs from the Platinum and JUNO award-winning band. What began as a seemingly crazy riff turned into the inspiration for the EP, which includes tracks that run the gamut from indulgently heavy, to what Pettit describes as “atmospheric sounding.” "They're completely different-sounding songs and would probably never make it onto a full-length record," says Dallas Green.

Alexisonfire Premiere Title Track From Their New "Dog's Blood" EP!

Head to Alexisonfire's MySpace page (www.myspace.com/Alexisonfire) to listen to the title track from the band's upcoming, Dog's Blood EP, which will be available everywhere on November 2nd.

Alexisonfire Announce iTunes Originals Release - Available September 28!

(August 31, 2010) – ALEXISONFIRE today announce the release of iTunes Originals on September 28, 2010. The iTunes Originals session encompasses interview clips of the band members reflecting on their career and revealing the inspirations behind their songs, along with album tracks and new live versions of some of their most well known songs. Alexisonfire recorded their iTunes Originals session in April 2010 and performed six tracks live in the studio specifically for this release. Alexisonfire’s iTunes Originals will be available for $9.99 and the individual songs are available for $0.99 each. The interview segments are only available by purchasing the complete release.

Alexisonfire’s fourth and latest studio full-length Old Crows/Young Cardinals was released in the summer of 2009 and debuted at #2 on the Top 200 SoundScan in Canada. The Ontario-based band has been performing around the world and continues this fall with a tour of Australia.

Alexisonfire is: Dallas Green (vocalist/guitarist), Jordan Hastings (drummer), Wade MacNeil (guitarist/vocalist), George Pettit (vocalist) and Chris Steele (bassist).

Alexisonfire Spring Tour

Hey guys! Alexisonfire will be heading out on the road this spring w/Trash Talk, La Dispute, and Therefore I Am. Tour dates are posted in the tour section. Presale tickets will be available on February 17 at 3:00pm local time in each market, HERE.

Fans purchasing their tickets in the presale will also have the option of upgrading to a VIP package for a total of $45, which includes their ticket, meet and greet with the band, early entry to the show, limited edition signed poster, and a laminate. Tickets go on sale to the public on February 20.
