LP Returns With Brand New Single, “Girls Go Wild”
Critically acclaimed recording artist and songwriter, LP, is back today with her brand new single, “Girls Go Wild.” Produced by Mike Del Rio (X Ambassadors, Kylie Minogue, POWERS), the song is a classic LP hit: funky, captivating, and complete with her soaring, powerhouse vocals. The new offering is also the first track off of her forthcoming album, set to be released via BMG (more details on the way!)
“Girls Go Wild” is available to stream and purchase HERE, and fans can watch the accompanying music video HERE.
Of the track LP says, “‘Girls Go Wild’ was born out of a Joshua Tree excursion with some close friends after coming home from a long bit of touring . It was the first song I wrote for the album when my thoughts and ideas were swirling around like a storm. It feels like I channeled my past present and future as told through a desert dream."
Since unveiling Lost On You, her fourth full-length studio album (May 2017 via BMG/Vagrant), LP has been touring tirelessly, selling out shows worldwide and hitting notable festivals including Coachella (Indio, CA), Osheaga (Montréal, Canada), Outside Lands (San Francisco, CA), Mad Cool (Madrid, Spain), and more. The title-track from the record has also clocked an impressive 500 million streams and attained platinum status internationally in Russia, Poland, Greece, Switzerland, and France. The official videos for standout album singles, “Lost On You,” “Muddy Waters,” and “When We’re High,” are now approaching 280+ million combined views as well.
LP has also become a critic’s favorite in the press, garnering praise from the likes of Billboard, Paper, Out Magazine, V Magazine, Interview, The Guardian, British Vogue, and more, and hitting the late night circuit with stellar performances on Fallon, Corden, Conan, and Jools Holland.
Stay tuned for more new music from LP, info on her upcoming album, and future tour dates.

Frank Iero and the Patience's New EP Keep The Coffins Coming Out Today
FRANK IERO and the PATIENCE released their new EP, Keep The Coffins Coming. The four-track EP was recorded with Frank Iero’s lifelong hero, the iconic Steve Albini (Nirvana, Pixies, PJ Harvey), at Electrical Audio in Chicago, IL. Heartfelt and raw, while still maintaining a fiery punk rock identity, Keep The Coffins Coming is a classic Iero album that connects Stomachaches and Parachutes, the band’s debut and sophomore efforts. In light of their accident in Sydney, Australia last year, the guys jokingly call themselves FRANK IERO & ‘THE PATIENTS’ on this release.
Yesterday, FRANK IERO and the PATIENCE teamed up with Alternative Press to premiere “No Fun Club,” a new track from the EP. If you were able to catch the band on tour this summer, you may have seen them perform this one live. Check it out HERE.

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club Announce New Album, Wrong Creatures
Today, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club announced their forthcoming album Wrong Creatures, out on January 12, 2018 and released the first single “Little Thing Gone Wild.”
Wrong Creatures was produced by Nick Launay (Nick Cave, Arcade Fire) and is available for pre-sale beginning today in all digital music stores and directly through the band’s online store. “Little Thing Gone Wild” is available for purchase as an individual track beginning today and everyone who pre-orders the album will receive the song immediately – pre-order is available through all digital stores or directly HERE.
Recorded in Los Angeles, Wrong Creatures takes a journey throughout rock's history, taking unlikely twists and turns, both peppered with historic influences but also having one foot firmly in the present. Yet their focus still firmly set on returning to edge of the stage, never resting on their laurels and bringing people further into their live experience. “It’s a crazy making machine, it can chew you up good, i mean we literally toured till the wheels came off and Leah’s brain literally started leaking out of her head” say’s Been. “I know i’ve battled on and off with mental depression, and Pete’s head never came with any proper instructions.”
Wrong Creatures returns to the core of BRMC's alchemy, yet plunges the knife in even further. From the Cave-esque murder balladry of “Haunt” to the garage punk of “Little Thing Gone Wild,” it runs the gamut allowing the band to flex every muscle in their armor. They remain opaque about the songs' greater meanings, fearful of past misunderstandings. “I find myself writing about death a lot,” says Hayes. “I find myself having a discussion with death, which sounds dark. For me, it's dark humor.” Talking about mortality allows Hayes to explore life's great mistakes and regrets. Channeling them through rolling riffs and dirge-laden rhythms, however, extolls the demons within. It's a great catharsis for the band, and it's a great unifier for their audience who can also seek solace in the emotional heft.
Ultimately, the band are survivors during an era where rock’n'roll can often be overshadowed by garish pop and domineering hip-hop. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club have learned how to cut out all the noise and concentrate on what matters. Robert Levon Been: “We are truly an island – come hell or high water, so it’s usually best to dress accordingly. Though i’m not sure what the proper attire is when drowning in fire. But leather usually goes with everything.”
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club also announced their North American tour which will be kicking off on January 15, 2018 with dates in Washington DC, Boston, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, and more. The trio will also be hitting Europe and the UK for select tour dates this fall beginning October 23. Pre-sale for the North American tour dates begins today and general on-sale begins on September 15 – head HERE to purchase. The band has partnered with Plus 1 for the tour in which $1 from each ticket will be donated to War Child, a worldwide organization that supports programs aiding women & children dislocated and impacted by war, political unrest, terrorism and poverty.
Frank Iero and the Patience To Release New EP Keep The Coffins Coming on September 22nd
FRANK IERO and the PATIENCE are gearing up to release their new EP, Keep The Coffins Coming, on September 22nd. Recorded with the legendary Steve Albini (Nirvana, Pixies, PJ Harvey), Keep The Coffins Coming is complete with four tracks that bridge the gap between Stomachaches and Parachutes, the band’s acclaimed debut and sophomore albums. The EP will be available to stream/purchase at digital retailers on release day.
“When we were done touring Stomachaches, I talked to my manager, Paul, about what we should do. I had my bucket list and one of the things on there was to work with Steve Albini,” says frontman Frank Iero. “Paul asked how long I’d wanted to work with Steve and I was like, ‘Since I was, like, 11!’ I wanted to make a Steve Albini record! Paul said he’d call him and I was like, ‘You can’t do that… that would be weird. Don’t do it.’ And he was like, ‘That’s my job!’ ”
Iero continues, “He called him, Steve said he could do it and he had three days. Next phone call I made was U-Haul; I fuckin’ packed the U-Haul up and drove the band to Chicago. I got to record an EP with my friends and one of my heroes in this, like, giant firehouse building in Chicago. The EP is this missing link between Stomachaches and Parachutes. It’s everything I wanted it to be. It’s fuckin’ awesome!”
On the upcoming EP, fans may notice a name change on the cover art. For this release, the band will jokingly refer to themselves as FRANK IERO & ‘THE PATIENTS’ in light of their accident in Sydney, Australia last year.
Since unveiling Parachutes (Oct. 2016), FRANK IERO and the PATIENCE have been touring non-stop, headlining shows across the U.S. and supporting Rise Against, Deftones, and Thrice on their summer dates. WATERS Release New Track, "You Don't Know What You Want"
WATERS have unveiled the newest track from their forthcoming album Something More! “You Don’t Know What You Want” is available now on all DSPs.
The Californian 5-piece will release Something More! this Friday May 19th, the band’s first release since 2015’s acclaimed What’s Real. Written and recorded over the past year in LA, following big-time touring runs with the likes of Weezer, Tegan and Sara, and Matt and Kim, the album came together after the five-piece band returned home and were forced to confront the day-to-day realities of everyday life.
Lead singer Van Pierszalowski says, "You Don't Know What You Want" is a mashup of various flashes of conflict and disagreement I've had in relationships in between long stretches of highway and days spent hanging out at the Subway on Kodiak Island in Alaska. There have been so many times in my life where I have literally no idea what is going on in my partner's head and I wanted to make it all into a fun pop song so I could deal.”
